Acts: The Spread of the Gospel

This study is taken from John MacArthur's "Acts: The Spread of the Gospel." My prayer and goal for this devo is that we will learn more about how the early church laid the foundation for what we possess today, and that we would allow God to use us to turn our world upside for Him!

This will be an exciting journey, so encourage others to join you! I'm looking forward to the interaction we will have on this blog as we study the book of Acts!

The devos will differ in format from day to day, but two things are constant: 1) a daily reading, and 2) additional Scripture passages that are in bold. Be sure to read any and all of the readings/bold verses that appear so that you can see the full picture of what is taught that day.

Going Deeper
The prophet Micah foresaw the time when God would reign over all. Read Micah 4:1-8.

Exploring the Meaning
1. How does the prophet Micah describe the coming Millennium time of peace?

2. What will draw people to God's mountain?

3. Read 2 Samuel 7:12-16. What promise did King David receive? How is it fulfilled in Jesus? Why is the premillennialist view necessary for the fulfillment of this prophecy?

1. a lot of people will come to know Christ I think or everyone will like join together or something.

2. The Lord's temple...i guess it means that the temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem.

3. That his child will become king. Jesus will have him raised right(?). I dont even know what that means.....
