Acts: The Spread of the Gospel

This study is taken from John MacArthur's "Acts: The Spread of the Gospel." My prayer and goal for this devo is that we will learn more about how the early church laid the foundation for what we possess today, and that we would allow God to use us to turn our world upside for Him!

This will be an exciting journey, so encourage others to join you! I'm looking forward to the interaction we will have on this blog as we study the book of Acts!

The devos will differ in format from day to day, but two things are constant: 1) a daily reading, and 2) additional Scripture passages that are in bold. Be sure to read any and all of the readings/bold verses that appear so that you can see the full picture of what is taught that day.

Questions
1. What did John see when the sixth seal was broken?

2. Who will be in heaven worshipping together? Describe the tone of this scene (7:9-12).

3. What is promised to those who endure (7:13-17)?

1. John saw that there was a great earthquake, the sun become black, the moon became as blood.
2. angles and elders.
3. we shall never huger again or thirst again neither shall the sun light shine on them, not even heat.

1. There was a great earthquake, the sun became black, the moon turned to blood, the stars fell from heaven and there were great winds.

2. A great multitude, all that are saved the angels and the elders. It will be a glorious scene for God. Millions of people worshiping God with one voice.

3. We will not have to suffer all this tribulation, we will sit next to God in heaven.

1. It was really really really dark and the sun, moon, and stars were covered.

2. All the Christians, elders, and every people and nation that will be in heaven. They will all stand around Jesus (God) and praise&worship Him.

3. God promises to never let them be hungry or thirsty again, never let them feel pain or scorching heat, to never let another tear come from their eyes again.
