1. Is Peter simply being humble when he refuses to allow Jesus to serve him (vv. 6-8)? Explain your answer.
2. What spiritual truth is Jesus trying to communicate to Peter (and to us) in verses 8-11?
3. After he finishes washing the disciples' feet, how does Jesus explain the significance of his actions (vv. 12-17)?

1. Kind of, he didn't feel like Jesus should be washing his feet. He was telling Jesus I'm not worthy of you washing my feet.
2. That once we are saved, we are clean from all of our sins and don't need to ask him to save us again. Salvation can't be lost.
3. He is showing them that we need to be humble and serve one another. We shouldn't act like we deserve everything.

1.he probebly didnt feel worthy and he knew that this was the son of God. i think he is being humble because he doesnt feel good enough for Jesus to wash his feet.
2.that we are already saved, we just still sin sometimes and God needs to wipe that sin away.
3.he is trying to tell them that no one is greater than each other they are all equal, even judas is equal to them.no sin can come between human and God, not even murder and all sins are equal.

1.he was being humble when he said you will never wash my feet to Jesus but he wasnt when he asked him Lord are you going to wash my feet.
2.if we are not saved are sins are not washed away (forgiven) so we are dirty but if we ask the Lord to forgive us of our sins then we are one of his children and are clean.

1.Kinda because he knows that Jesus is the Son of God and Peter doesnt feel like he is worthy enough for him to wash his feet.
2.We need to be cleansed from all of our sins.

1. well kinda he keept telling jesus he was not worthy for the Son of God to be washing his feet.
2. well that we are saved once and only once it cant be lost no matter how bad the sin.
